Reopne and assigned to maintainer.
Where does the type come from "otpion"?
Comment 4 Roy Marples 2010-04-15 16:17:53 UTC
Missed this somehow. What dhcpcd version do you have installed? All should support the -m option.
Comment 5 Michael Mounteney 2010-04-15 19:40:08 UTC
It occurs with dhcpcd 5.2.2 but the error occurs when in /etc/conf.d/net, the dhcpcd_eth0 line contains -N. Yes, capital N. I've removed that now and dhcpcd is now working (thank you) but there is still a spurious and misleading error report (as well as a typo) with the -N argument. My /etc/conf.d/net line now reads:

dhcpcd_eth0="-t 5 -b -L"

and previously:

dhcpcd_eth0="-t 5 -L -N"
Comment 6 Dennis Schridde 2013-02-06 20:03:02 UTC
Is this still valid?

It's all fixed now, thank you.
