This is more errors by the ebuild ofr app-emulation/dosemu, as it not getting the latest updates there is, as I know there is a unofficial patch for dosemu, and the patch I have find by gentoo is over a year old. And then When I run 'emerge dosemu' is I only gets dosemu-1.4.0 by have accept_keywords="amd64", and 3 tries of it dos not take all there is, and change amd64 to ~amd64 gives a little more of dosemu but not he latest updated from the url link http:/dosemu.sourceforge.net/prerelease/ Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. emerge dosemu 2. emerge dosemu 3. Actual Results: First is emerge only using and compiling version 1.4.0 and then with the changes is it using the latest ebuild anf manage to make dosemu 1.4.0.1, but there is still missing the latest patch and only the old patches is used. Expected Results: The emerge dosemu and ebuild should have used all the patches there is, both the official one and the prereleases patchs and unofficiel paths and updates. processor : 0 vendor_id : AuthenticAMD cpu family : 16 model : 6 model name : AMD Athlon(tm) II X2 245 Processor stepping : 2 cpu MHz : 2906.206 cache size : 1024 KB physical id : 0 siblings : 2 core id : 0 cpu cores : 2 apicid : 0 initial apicid : 0 fpu : yes fpu_exception : yes cpuid level : 5 wp : yes flags : fpu vme de pse tsc msr pae mce cx8 apic sep mtrr pge mca cmov pat pse36 clflush mmx fxsr sse sse2 ht syscall nx mmxext fxsr_opt pdpe1gb rdtscp lm 3dnowext 3dnow constant_tsc rep_good pni monitor cx16 lahf_lm cmp_legacy svm extapic cr8_legacy abm sse4a misalignsse 3dnowprefetch osvw ibs skinit wdt bogomips : 5812.40 TLB size : 1024 4K pages clflush size : 64 cache_alignment : 64 address sizes : 48 bits physical, 48 bits virtual power management: ts ttp tm stc 100mhzsteps hwpstate processor : 1 vendor_id : AuthenticAMD cpu family : 16 model : 6 model name : AMD Athlon(tm) II X2 245 Processor stepping : 2 cpu MHz : 2906.206 cache size : 1024 KB physical id : 0 siblings : 2 core id : 1 cpu cores : 2 apicid : 1 initial apicid : 1 fpu : yes fpu_exception : yes cpuid level : 5 wp : yes flags : fpu vme de pse tsc msr pae mce cx8 apic sep mtrr pge mca cmov pat pse36 clflush mmx fxsr sse sse2 ht syscall nx mmxext fxsr_opt pdpe1gb rdtscp lm 3dnowext 3dnow constant_tsc rep_good pni monitor cx16 lahf_lm cmp_legacy svm extapic cr8_legacy abm sse4a misalignsse 3dnowprefetch osvw ibs skinit wdt bogomips : 5813.23 TLB size : 1024 4K pages clflush size : 64 cache_alignment : 64 address sizes : 48 bits physical, 48 bits virtual power management: ts ttp tm stc 100mhzsteps hwpstate Portage 2.1.6.13 (default/linux/amd64/2008.0/server, gcc-4.1.2, glibc-2.9_p20081201-r2, 2.6.28-gentoo-r5 x86_64) ================================================================= System uname: Linux-2.6.28-gentoo-r5-x86_64-AMD_Athlon-tm-_II_X2_245_Processor-with-gentoo-1.12.11.1 Timestamp of tree: Fri, 11 Sep 2009 16:45:02 +0000 app-shells/bash: 4.0_p28 dev-lang/python: 2.6.2-r1 dev-python/pycrypto: 2.0.1-r8 sys-apps/baselayout: 1.12.11.1 sys-apps/sandbox: 1.6-r2 sys-devel/autoconf: 2.13, 2.63-r1 sys-devel/automake: 1.9.6-r2, 1.10.2 sys-devel/binutils: 2.18-r3 sys-devel/gcc-config: 1.4.1 sys-devel/libtool: 1.5.26 virtual/os-headers: 2.6.27-r2 ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="amd64" CBUILD="x86_64-pc-linux-gnu" CFLAGS="-march=k8 -O2 -pipe" CHOST="x86_64-pc-linux-gnu" CONFIG_PROTECT="/etc" CONFIG_PROTECT_MASK="/etc/ca-certificates.conf /etc/env.d /etc/fonts/fonts.conf /etc/gconf /etc/revdep-rebuild /etc/sandbox.d /etc/terminfo /etc/udev/rules.d" CXXFLAGS="-march=k8 -O2 -pipe" DISTDIR="/usr/portage/distfiles" FEATURES="distlocks fixpackages parallel-fetch protect-owned sandbox sfperms strict unmerge-orphans userfetch" GENTOO_MIRRORS="http://ftp.klid.dk/ftp/gentoo/ http://ftp.snt.utwente.nl/pub/os/linux/gentoo" LDFLAGS="-Wl,-O1" MAKEOPTS="-j1" PKGDIR="/usr/portage/packages" PORTAGE_CONFIGROOT="/" PORTAGE_RSYNC_OPTS="--recursive --links --safe-links --perms --times --compress --force --whole-file --delete --stats --timeout=180 --exclude=/distfiles --exclude=/local --exclude=/packages" PORTAGE_TMPDIR="/var/tmp" PORTDIR="/usr/portage" PORTDIR_OVERLAY="/usr/local/portage/layman/gate.junc.org" SYNC="rsync://rsync.europe.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage" USE="acl amd64 apache2 bzip2 cli cracklib crypt dri isdnlog mmx multilib ncurses nls nptl nptlonly openmp pam pcre perl pppd python readline reflection session snmp spl sse sse2 ssl svg sysfs tcpd truetype unicode xml xorg zlib" APACHE2_MODULES="actions alias auth_basic authn_alias authn_anon authn_dbm authn_default authn_file authz_dbm authz_default authz_groupfile authz_host authz_owner authz_user autoindex cache dav dav_fs dav_lock deflate dir disk_cache env expires ext_filter file_cache filter headers include info log_config logio mem_cache mime mime_magic negotiation rewrite setenvif speling status unique_id userdir usertrack vhost_alias" ELIBC="glibc" INPUT_DEVICES="keyboard" KERNEL="linux" USERLAND="GNU" Unset: CPPFLAGS, CTARGET, EMERGE_DEFAULT_OPTS, FFLAGS, INSTALL_MASK, LANG, LC_ALL, LINGUAS, PORTAGE_COMPRESS, PORTAGE_COMPRESS_FLAGS, PORTAGE_RSYNC_EXTRA_OPTS
Please note: This is not a Portage bug, so use the Gentoo Linux component (yeah, the one with the red text) and do not CC architecture teams. If you want this to be bumped, you should say what patches you are missing *explicitly*. 1.4.0.1 seems to be the latest available patch upstream, and we do have that version available.

Just when I use keyword="amd64" is I not get the last updates 1.4.0.1, there should be a cpu update too it is not in the patch 1.4.0.1, and then is "amd64" use only run ebuild dosemu-1.4.0.ebuidl, where use of keywords="~amd64" take the both bt first 1.4.0.ebuild and then 1.4.0.1.ebuild and is getting all 4 updates, but I shall perhaps use "amd64 ~amd64" to make it work better.

I got it work but now is it the freedos there not will work by unpack oand install, and it is on a gentoo server so it more it say not enough tested on a server report this to hardened. Bad thinks :( So do I this here dosemu-freedos will not getting installed on a amd64 server now, so please hardened project make it fixed else have I to find other dos to install by emerge.

The report is a bit unclear, but current dosemu should be good enough: app-emulation/dosemu-1.4.1_pre20130107
