Wrt comment #3 for gnetlist: tests/Readme states explicitly that gnetlist has to be installed before running tests. A patch should be possible. If we dig a little bit deeper into the failed test it shows that the generated netlist is consistent with the refence one. Only difference is the ordering of the lines. That is already discussed upstream (see http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=2455061&group_id=161080&atid=818426). Maybe the package needs a RESTRICT=test.
Please fix the test failures. Split geda-1.4.3 ebuild got package masked on jun 21. Arches please go on and stable the actual geda-1.6.1. It is in tree since end of march and has no open bugs.
