Description Niels V 2003-09-10 10:52:06 UTC

glooFTP PRO is an award winning FTP Client. Its main features are to be easy to
use and intuitive when used by novice, but powerful and fully configurable in
the hand of experienced users. IglooFTP PRO makes full usage of the GTK+ library
and offers much more features than any other graphical client available on Unix
based systems including FXP transfers, secure FTP connections through the Secure
Sockets Layer (SSL v2/v3), Transport Layer Security (TLS v1), and Stanford SRP
protocols, MD4 / MD5 / SHA1 encrypted passwords, advanced FTP operations, full
transfer resume, Remote Directory Caching, URL clipboard monitoring, enhanced
Firewall support, Drag & Drop, and much, much more...

Anyone feels like creating an ebuild? :D

No mention of liscense anywhere on the site, and the fact that they have it up for sale does not look good. The binary package downloads and installs fine, so ebuild does not seem safe, wise or necessary

what license is this released under, Niels?
Comment 3 Mr. Bones. (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-10-10 03:21:02 UTC
Created attachment 19045 [details]
LICENSE for iglooftp pro

It's released under the IGLOOFTP PRO END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (attached).

So... it looks like gftp, but costs money.

I vote No on this one.
