cws2fws is a utility to uncompress Macromedia Flash files, which is included with the source distribution of ffmpeg, but has no ebuild associated with it.

A new ebuild was created as cws2fws only relies on zlib, and not ffmpeg.

Reproducible: Always

I found similar tool written in perl some time ago

I've run across the perl version as well, which I've tried, and found some success with it. Offhand, I remember it being more picky on the file extensions of its inputs, but I might be fuzzy on that.

Though, as the C version is packaged with ffmpeg, and the perl version appears a one-off at v0.0.1, I'm inclined to suggest that this is the better of the two to include.

Since there seems to be near zero interest in this utility, am requesting that this ebuild request be cancelled.
