Description NiTr0 2009-09-02 21:26:39 UTC
memtest86+-2.11 prints thousands of errors on K10 PC - PhenomII x2 on Asus M3N78-VM (GeForce8200); no matter what RAM is installed. All errors are in low memory (below 1M).
With memtest86+ 1.65 version (that is on my boot CD) all is OK.

Sorry, I re-check it's version again - I've missed when I emerge it. It's sys-apps/memtest86-3.2.

memtest 4.0s and memtest+ 4.20-r1, is this bug still valid?

Anyway it look like more missing workaround in kernel (some bioses corrupts low memory if I recall correctly) or something wrong in old memtest.
