Description Theo Chatzimichos (RETIRED) archtester gentoo-dev Security 2009-08-06 11:56:28 UTC
Please keyword amarok-2.1 and amarok-2.1.1. Targets:
PPC, PPC64, SPARC
Thanks

I also owe a big apology to our users for not doing it earlier.
Comment 1 Theo Chatzimichos (RETIRED) archtester gentoo-dev Security 2009-08-06 12:38:40 UTC
Sparc isn't ready for kde4 yet, removing
Comment 2 Samuli Suominen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-11-13 16:56:49 UTC
This is a prereq for kdelibs-3 removal, see bug 292791. So basically if you want keep amarok around, you should get this done... thanks!
Comment 3 Jorge Manuel B. S. Vicetto (RETIRED) Gentoo Infrastructure gentoo-dev 2009-12-02 01:59:24 UTC
I've added sparc again now that KDE-4.3 is keyworded for sparc.
It's time to drop amarok-1.4, so I'd really appreciate if you could add the keywords for amarok-2.2.
Comment 4 Joe Jezak (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-01-08 21:28:48 UTC
This seems to fail at 8% through the build on ppc/ppc64, but there are no obvious errors. Changing to the work directory and manually running cmake seems to work fine. This is with both amarok 2.2.0 and 2.2.1-r2.

Any suggestions?
Comment 5 Jorge Manuel B. S. Vicetto (RETIRED) Gentoo Infrastructure gentoo-dev 2010-01-08 22:23:59 UTC
Joe,

can you please attach the build file? If you prefer, we can wait for 2.2.2 that I've added earlier and that should be out next Monday.
Comment 6 Raúl Porcel (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-01-16 14:34:23 UTC
since the sparc keyword has been dropped already, we'll pass
Comment 7 Joe Jezak (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-02-23 04:04:51 UTC
2.2.2 seems to have done the trick. Marked ~ppc, holding off on ~ppc64 until we work out our minimal-toc issues.
Comment 8 Jorge Manuel B. S. Vicetto (RETIRED) Gentoo Infrastructure gentoo-dev 2010-06-12 01:06:19 UTC
I've just added amarok-2.3.1-r1 to the tree that includes the minimal-toc cflag.
The packages is masked pending some testing.
Comment 9 Andreas Thalhammer 2010-06-17 23:07:12 UTC
amarok-2.3.1-r1 compiles fine and seems to run without errors on my system. Only with mysql I have some trouble because it isn't configured properly.

On ARCH=ppc64 there are some dependencies missing though, more precisely the KEYWORDS=ppc64 are missing for some of Amaroks' dependencies (see my USE flags in mentioned bug below).

See seperate bug 324535 for details.

Cheers,
Andreas
