Hulahop is a python library from the Sugar/OLPC project. It provides a pygtk web browser component. It operates similarly to pywebkitgtk, but uses xulrunner instead of webkit. hulahop is currently in the "sugar" overlay. In addition to its use in Sugar, hulahop is one of the rendering engines for pyjamas-desktop (http://pyjs.org and http://pyjd.org), so it has found more general use. I suggest dev-python/hulahop for location, similar to dev-python/pywebkitgtk. hulahop depends gtk+, python[sqlite], pygobject, pygtk, and xulrunner[python].

Thank you for this ebuild, you may also want to investigate putting your ebuild in the sunrise overlay which is located at http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/sunrise/. When/if the ebuild is put into sunrise, please let us know on this bug.
Latest upstream VCS activity in 2011, Closing as the bug is really old and upstream does not seem to work actively on that package anymore.
