The 3.0 branch of lm_sensors has been out for over 2 years w/o many major issues.

lm_sensors-3.x is still package.masked off due to many things once failing to compile against it.  Bug 279423 for example.  There's only a couple items left and it can probably be removed from package.mask.  It must be in the tree 30 days not package.masked to be a candidate for stable marking.

Closing as LATER.  Re-open or file new when the package fits the stable criteria.
