Description Abraham Marin Perez 2009-07-06 15:07:33 UTC
Hi,

Both dev-texlive/texlive-basic-2008 and dev-texlive/texlive-latex-2008-r1 seem to install the file

/var/lib/texmf/ls-R

causing the build to fail if collision-protect is enabled.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge texlive-basic
2. emerge texlive-latex
3.

1) http://archives.gentoo.org/gentoo-amd64/msg_ad62b45f27e1ca5e4023a3a0a56f5bb8.xml

2) http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/tex/texlive-migration-guide.xml#uninstall

I'm not sure if this is a bug at all; maybe you haven't followed the texlive migration guide?

Please post the actual collision message -- the part that tells what package the file in question belongs to. (Collision error ends up as an elog message rather than in the build log, so use elog viewer like elogv or elogviewer to find it)
