This is a continuation of https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=276283 but I don't think anyone's listening on there. While the download page may contain a disclaimer, the Handbooks do not and still mention[0] the GLI. I frequently see users on #gentoo attempting to use the GLI because of this. The Handbooks need to be updated as well to deter new users from attempting to use the installer. Failure to do this is a disservice to the users in my opinion. We are listening, it's just that fixing all the handbooks is a major undertaking, especially since we're effectively down to just one or two active developers. We're well aware of the stuff that needs to be fixed. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 260403 ***
