awn-extras requires alsa-lib in order to build.  I currently use OSSv4 and all BSD and UNIX's use OSS, so a use flag to include or exclude ALSA extras would be great.

Note, the most recent version is not techinically dependent (sp?) on ALSA, so making pyalsaaudio optional in the runtime depends solved this issue for me.

Here is my ebuild if you want.

Ebuild with "alsa" use flag that makes runtime depend optional.

Full ebuild.  According to upstream, alsa is no longer manditory.

Also, according to wiki, since version  0.3.3, pyalsaaudio is no longer
a dependency for gentoo.
