I use fbsetbg -a /path/to/wallpaper.jpg. At start of session the background is installed, but jumps out an importunate window with the text: "fbsetbg: Can't find wallpaper". feh-1.3.4 installed. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Edit ~/.fluxbox/startup, adding fbsetbg -a /path/to/wallpaper.jpg. 2. start fluxbox session. Actual Results: Pop up an importunate window. Can you please attach the contents of your ~/.fluxbox/startup and also your ~/.fluxbox/lastwallpaper Thank you. You may also find this is similar to bug #258412, but this should have been fixed by a patch in 1.1.1-r1

Thanks for the information! Now, to clarify a couple things here: - What version of fluxbox are you running exactly? The bug report says 1.1.1-r1, but in your last comment you mention uprading to -r1. Which is it? - How exactly are you starting fluxbox? Your lastwallpaper file looks like it's filled with a bunch of fairly weird X sessions.
Terribly I apologise. I thought that have updated all a server to the last version before the report, but on this server have forgotten. There was version 1.1.1. Having updated to-r1, all has settled into shape. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 258412 ***
