A user at the NVNews forums posted a patch to allow x11-drivers/nvidia-drivers-173.14.18 to compile against 2.6.30 for those that are still using this driver version. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Upgrade to kernel >= 2.6.30 2. Attempt to emerge x11-drivers/nvidia-drivers-173.14.18 Actual Results: Build fails Expected Results: Build success I'm not sure how critical this is, but I know there are still some people who are unable to use any of the 18x series drivers stably with their systems.
