I've created an ebuild for the miniupnpc client library and helper utility. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
Created attachment 194058 [details] Initial ebuild I've tested this on AMD64, should work with other archs without any hassle.
This would be useful, if they managed to get stable API out since net-p2p/transmission is shipping a internal copy of it and upstream decided not to use the system copy because of this. :(
I don't think they've broken it lately, have they?
(In reply to comment #3) > I don't think they've broken it lately, have they? > http://trac.transmissionbt.com/ticket/2071 Quoting: 'Moreover it's nearly impossible to tell which version of miniupnpc you've got -- the *only* info is kept in MINIUPNPC_VERSION_STRING, but it reads "1.2" for both versions 1.2 and 1.3, so the only reliable way is to try and compile the different function APIs and see which ones survive the compile.' A release with pkg-config and version string inside it would help A LOT for example.
