dazukofs is the successor of dazuko-2 series. While legacy dazuko-2 needs redirfs for use with newer kernels, dazukofs is independent of additional packages.

Upstream is working on getting dazukofs officially included into the linux kernel and many software companies are supporting dazukofs as well (mostly anti-virus).

I am using dazukofs-3.0.0 for almost one month without problems together with gentoo-sources-2.6.28-r5.

I will attach the ebuild I am using for dazukofs-3.0.0 to share with others interested in dazukofs. Maybe someone likes to take maintainership and includes a (probably revamped) version to the portage tree.

I close this bug as upstream is dead and nothing usable exists that compiles against recent kernels.
