Comment 2 Daniel Douglas 2009-08-11 10:35:23 UTC
This should at least be bumped in webapp-experimental
Comment 3 Peter Gantner (a.k.a. nephros) 2009-09-02 20:46:42 UTC
Bump.

It's been a while. Is there anything critical holding this back?
Comment 4 Robert R. Richter 2009-10-20 12:09:43 UTC
plz add this to ~x86 - or why is this delayed so long?

> 3.0.6 out

You can use ebuild from 3.0.4 (there is no difference with 3.0.5 either)
Comment 8 hitachi 2010-02-20 12:22:11 UTC
One could change the Summary field from www-apps/phpBB-3.0.5 version bump to www-apps/phpBB-3.0.6 version bump
Comment 9 Patrick 2010-03-04 04:20:29 UTC
3.0.7 out since 2010-02-28.

((3.0.7 already))
Comment 11 Steffen Schaumburg 2010-05-14 05:49:38 UTC
It's a bit uncomfortable to run a php-webapp outdated for a year, can somebody post why this is being held up please? Cheers.
Comment 12 Steffen Schaumburg 2010-05-18 21:56:49 UTC
I installed 3.0.7-PL1 by renaming the ebuild (to 3.0.7_p1 so portage would accept it, don't ask what madness drove them to this versioning scheme..) and manually adding the download link. Other than that I left the ebuild unchanged, emerged, webapp-config'd and it seems to work fine so far. This is on amd64 with apache and mysql. Don't see much point in uploading "my" ebuild here but if anyone wants it just say so.

Can someone from webapps please give a life-sign? If nobody wants to maintain this package that's a shame but so be it. If that's the case can you remove it from the main portage tree and transfer it to webapps-experimental or sunrise?

updated ebuild

Wasn't sure how to name the file, the version is called 3.0.7-PL1 for some reason. Since that is not a permitted version name I used 3.0.7_p1 as the next best thing. This of course breaks the download link, so I used a particular one.

I just bumped the ebuild in the tree. Thanks to everyone who attached ebuilds.

I didn't incorporate features like the LINGUAS support. Please file a separate bug requesting that feature. Thanks.
