I am trying to run gimp which was working fine earlier on my desktop. It freezes. Gimp's GtkScaleButton conflicts with GTK's, according to this bug [1]. The fix is included in the 2.6.5 release, so upgrading should fix the issue. [1] https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=567840
upgrading fixed the issue (for me at least). I suggest this bug be closed.
Fixed in current versions in main tree.
