Can't reproduce. I don't have a /var/lib/texmf/web2c/tex.fmt, which package does it belong to on your system? (equery b /var/lib/texmf/web2c/tex.fmt) On my system: #equery b tex.fmt [ Searching for file(s) tex.fmt in *... ] dev-texlive/texlive-basic-2008 (/var/lib/texmf/web2c/tex/tex.fmt) Do/Did you have some other tex distribution than texlive installed? Hi, equery b /var/lib/texmf/web2c/tex.fmt [ Searching for file(s) /var/lib/texmf/web2c/tex.fmt in *... ] No Files found OK I moved /var/lib/texmf/web2c/tex.fmt to *.old and it works. I hope it would make no other Errors... Thanks
