Attached is the fung-calc ebuild, which will build this simple graphing calculator which is one of the best and easiest out there. (from the fung-calc site) Fung-Calc is a free, open source advanced, yet easy to use, graphing calculator for Linux using Qt. It plots several types of 2D and 3D graphs. It combines the use of advanced mathematical features and ease of use all in one package. I suggest app-sci/fung-calc, but I really don't know where to put a calculator program. The ebuild has been tested with USE="(+/-)kde (+/-)opengl" and seems to work with the custom use variables.

Created attachment 16225 [details] app-sci/fung-calc-1.3.2b.ebuild Uh oh! It looks like 1.3.2b has a problem for non-kde users when they try to compile, even with the non-kde-app flags included. I've marked this with ~x86 since it will probably fail if you do not have kde installed. A bug is being filed with the developer.
Created attachment 16519 [details] app-sci/fung-calc-1.3.2b ok, fixed mirrors and made kde a requirement until fung-calc can fix the kde configuration problem.
Created attachment 16534 [details] app-sci/fung-calc-1.3.2b.ebuild Hopefully this one will work for non-kde users; however, I haven't gotten anyone to try it out yet. would a non-kde user please try it out? I think this one may be able to go into portage if no one has any problems.
