Description Cheba 2009-04-24 13:55:58 UTC
Inkscape color chooser widgets maximum value is limited to 245 instead of 255. Colour values can be changed to higher values but they set back when you touch any of colour chooser widgets.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install Inkscape with GTK+ 2.13+
2. Set colour chooser widget to maximum value

Actual Results:
You get 245

Expected Results:
You get 255

What do you mean?

is this still an issue in media-gfx/inkscape-0.47_pre1?

This bug did not go away.

I can confirm the patch works out of the box for me (Thanks Cheba).

The problem is a change in gtk+ widget behaviour. The new behaviour has always been the "documented" behaviour, so the gtk+ upstream does not intend to correct it. Hopefully inkscape upstream will, but for now, please do what is needed to make this patch official.

Inkscape is unusable without it.

The patch appears to be in 0.47 final (at least first good half of it)
