1.  It refers to /etc/conf.d/clock but it's now /etc/conf.d/hwclock (for Linux).
2.  TIMEZONE= in the above is obsolete; we should use /etc/timezone instead.

Only in OpenRC, which is not yet stable. It's already covered in the baselayout/openrc migration guide.
