Description Theo van Rijn 2009-04-17 20:29:37 UTC
After a clean emearge of =net-analyzer/openvas-2.0.1, when I start openvasd, I get the error "**** /var/lib/lib/openvas/openvas-services could not be found. Install it and try again"

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. autounmask =net-analyzer/openvas-2.0.1
2. emerge -v =net-analyzer/openvas-2.0.1
3. openvas-mkcert
4. openvas-adduser
5. /etc/init.d/openvasd start

Actual Results:
 * Caching service dependencies ...                                                                                                              [ ok ]
 * Starting openvasd ...
**** /var/lib/lib/openvas/openvas-services could not be found. Install it and try again [ !! ]

openvasd is not running.

Expected Results:
openvasd running

As a work around I did: ln -s /var/lib /var/lib/lib
After this openvasd did start and did it's job.

Moving back to net-analyzer/openvas-server-2.0.1 did not solve this
Comment 2 Anton Bolshakov 2009-05-06 08:00:18 UTC
I would say re-open the bug #262013

Ping?..
