I changed my kernel verison back to 2.6.28-r4, but still failed to compile(fail to compile vmhgfs).
btw, I don't use the open-vm-tools in the vmware overlay because the vmware-tool in the vmware overlay still has some problem on my computer(vmhgfs don't work and fail to implement the copy-and-paste between the host and the vmware client)

I think that for copy/paste you need to run vmware-user. http://open-vm-tools.wiki.sourceforge.net/Packaging#tocPackaging11

Ok, That's right.  Although the open-vmware-tools in the official portage still doesn't work, the open-vmware-tools in the vmware overlay works.
