Description leeight 2009-04-06 11:48:25 UTC
(Eclipse:27007): IBUS-WARNING **: Connect to unix:path=/tmp/ibus-leeight/ibus-unix-0 failed. Failed to open socket: Too many open files.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge app-i18n/ibus-1.1.0.20090331 and dev-util/eclipse-sdk-3.
2. run command `lsof /tmp/ibus-leeight/ibus-unix-0 | wc -l`
3. start eclipse
4. open a text file, and then count the opened file descriptor for ibus-unix-0 using command `lsof /tmp/ibus-leeight/ibus-unix-0 | wc -l`
5. close that text file, and recount the opened file descriptor.
6. repeat step 4~5, and we can see the opened file descriptor for ibus-unix-0 increase
7. (Eclipse:27007): IBUS-WARNING **: Connect to unix:path=/tmp/ibus-leeight/ibus-unix-0 failed. Failed to open socket: Too many open files.

I suspect this is more related to IBUS.

@CJK: Feel free to reassign if you think that the failure is not because of IBUS.
Comment 2 leeight 2009-04-11 06:16:19 UTC
i don't think it's related to IBUS

i found the same symptoms while using pidgin.
open a new conversation window, `ibus-unix-0` opened file descriptor increase, but doesn't decrease after close that conversation window.
