Ok, but now the panel is half english and half italian (it was fully italian before).

On me its half english and half German, dont know why but i had this in GNOME 2.22.x too

Please submit diff against current ebuild in the future, it's easier for us to review most of the time. The half localized/half unlocalized issue is due to the yet unported localization patch to restore the shutdown/logout buttons.

This has been bumped in overlay. The translation issue shouldn't appear with intltool-0.40.5 except for the things that we brought back from the grave for gnome-session 2.22 support. This will be fixed in time.
