This package has been found to depend on a minimal version of portage which is no longer in the tree. This means that all currently available versions satisfy the dependency and it is not necessary anymore. it may be that your package requires specific portage behavior. if that is the case please close this bug as INVALID with a reason stated here.

Oh, and upstream (Berlios) page (Linked from Sourceforge) says, "Denu 2.3.1 features support for non-portage based distros. It also includes gnome 2.10 support."
