After having started vmware-workstation and selected file->new->virtualmachine the UI crashes (vanished window).
The error does NOT occur if vmware is started with VMWARE_USE_SHIPPED_GTK="yes".

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. /etc/init.d/vmware start
2. vmware
3. select menupoint file->new->virtualmachine

Actual Results:  
UI Crash (Window disappears)

Expected Results:  
See new virtual machine dialog.

Ok Simon,

This is probably a relatively well known bug, so there's a few things I'm going to ask you to do first just to check that doesn't solve the problem:

First please recompile gtkmm with USE="accessibility" set.
Then please recompile libsexy and libsexymm.
The finally recompile libview.

Hopefully that will solve the problems, please also have a read of bug 185444, since I think this bug is a duplicate.  If that solves your problems, let me know and I'll mark this as such.  If it's a different problem then let me know too and we'll try investigating further...  5:)

Sorry forgot to mention that I allready did as suggested in the other bug.
Redid what you propsed and realized I rebuilt everything but libsexymm. Shame on me; thanks to you!; and bug closed.
