Description Jose daLuz 2009-03-10 21:23:14 UTC
After upgrading xf86-input-evdev from 2.1.3 to 2.2.0, a couple of keys no longer autorepeat, specifically down arrow and right arrow. Downgrading to 2.1.3 fixes this. This is with a 046d:c517 Logitech, Inc. LX710 Cordless Desktop Laser (keyboard only, I upgraded the mouse to a different model). I have not explicitly set a /etc/hal/fdi/policy/*fdi file for this (and wouldn't know how to set one up to change autorepeat for a couple of keys!).

Using xorg-server 1.5.3-r3.

Portage 2.2_rc24 (default/linux/amd64/2008.0/desktop, gcc-4.3.3, glibc-2.9_p20081201-r2, 2.6.28.7 x86_64)

I have the same problem. I am using normal PS/2 keyboard and as a keyboard driver in xorg.conf I have kdb, but I think that hal is messing something up with choosing the driver.
After downgrading to 2.1.3 everything is OK and back to normal.
