newer imagemagick (see stabilisation bug #257682) version will break current stable xine-lib, can we get a newer version stable?
media-libs/xine-lib-1.1.16 is in the tree for >30 days, so this seems like a candidate for this.

1.1.16.1 is a pure bugfix release that handles regressions introduced in 1.1.16, I think that would be better to stabilize. Alexis?

there is bug #249041 where we should get 1.1.16.1 stable
and also bug #254344 where there seems to be some regressions.

Then I recommend adding the arches. I'll go and test xine-lib-1.1.16.1 for alpha right now.
