(In reply to comment #7) > Created an attachment (id=210842) [details] > emesene-9999.ebuild > > This Ebuild works ;) > Hi, Mate this ebuild is for emesene2 nor emesene1 :D To emesnse1 already have ebuild.
emesene2 has it's own GitHub/git repo, now. you can find it here http://github.com/emesene/emesene
Created attachment 271075 [details] ebuild for the git repo New ebuild for building the git version. It uses distutils and installs to /usr/lib/python-2.#/site-package/emesene. The current git version has its own python setup script and distutils takes advantage of that so that it also installs docs, icons, and emesene.desktop. Also adds symbolic link /usr/bin/emesene I am just starting to get a hang of managing python packages. Is site-package appropriate or do we still want it installed to /usr/share/emesene??
I will take this package
A preliminary ebuild for 2.11.4 is in my overlay. Feel free to test it
I modified the emesene ebuild so it can be installed along with emesene-1. I plan to move both of them to portage in 48 hours.
On tree. Thanks
