Description Justin Fitzsimmons 2003-07-31 15:11:54 UTC
The 3com 3c2000 LOM card is not autodetected and drivers are not available on
the liveCD.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Boot from the liveCD ;)
Actual Results:
No network support

Expected Results:
Network support should be available

Linux drivers for the 3c2000 can be found in source at
http://www.asus.com/support/download/selectftp.aspx?
l1_id=1&l2_id=15&l3_id=19&m_id=1&f_name=044_Linux.zip~zaqwedc

Strangely enough, drivers are not available from 3com itself, only from asus.
The 3c2000 is also known as the 3c940... :\

is this a dup of bug 23027?
Comment 2 Justin Fitzsimmons 2003-11-16 09:48:27 UTC
Yes, it is a dup. (I guess it doesn't help that 3com has two names for the
same product)
