GSPCAv2 supports pac207 chip, however, pac207.c does not list IDs of all devices built on this chip. One such instance is Genius iLook-111 webcam with ID 093a:2474, which I happen to own. Reproducible: Always There is an easy patch for this one. One just needs to add device ID to drivers/media/video/gspca/pac207.c device id list. I just wish it was included into "official" gentoo kernel

Patch looks good but I could not find it in the development kernel tree. Are you the author of this patch?
Yes, I am the author of this particular patch. Though it's so simple, that I imagne there could be similar patches somewhere.
We don't take patches into gentoo-sources that aren't at least in queue to get into the development mainline tree so we have 3 options here: 1) You can submit it upstream. 2) We can help you submit it upstream. 3) Or we can submit it upstream. Btw, when this gets submitted upstream, it should include an entry in: Documentation/video4linux/gspca.txt Let us know how you want to proceed.
Ok then, now in process of (1).

Nice job. This should find it's way into gentoo-sources
