pydb is an expanded version of the Python debugger loosely based on the gdb command set. It also has all of the features found in an earlier version of pydb.py that was distributed with the debugger GUI ddd.

Pydb can act as a helper app for DDD (http://www.gnu.org/software/ddd/).  DDD will automatically be able to debug python programs if it finds pydb when it starts up.

I reopened this bug because the project has a new URL, possibly a new maintainer and seems to be active, The last release was 2008-12-26.

We still have bug #254321 as a duplicate please search before filing bugs.

Then I don't understand how Bugzilla works.

If this report is identified as a resolved duplicate of a wontfix bug, it effectively closes this report also.

I did search open bug reports and "Zarro Boogs found".
