Description Tobias Leupold 2009-01-08 14:17:38 UTC
As of app-vim/gentoo-syntax-20070506, the files /etc/portage/package.* are highlighted correctly. But those can also be directories containing multiple files. In this case, these files aren't highlighted at all.

In the Gentoo forums ( http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-725168.html ), I was said that

echo "au BufNewFile,BufRead /*/package.use/* set filetype=gentoo-package-use" >> ~/.vim/ftdetect/gentoo-enhance.vim

would do the trick (in this case for package.use/*).

I think this should be fixed :-)

Reproducible: Always

The 20081006 package already fixes this, some other bugs in it preventing stabilization, so I hope to release a new version soon.

Marking as a dupe of the stablereq
