Package is old, but is still in portage, so should be supported. And this is the last version which works w progressbar patch.

reopen if coreutils-6.10-r2.ebuild fails as well

Works with 6.10-r1, but different version is not a solution, because progressbar patch doesn't work with >=6.10.
