Description Daniel Drake (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-12-25 12:10:56 UTC
This bug is for tracking regressions in stable portage packages (NOT kernel
bugs themselves) due to 2.6.28 upgrades.

Please don't mark bugs as fixed until the fix is in the stable tree.

tentative 2.6.28 stable date is January 15th
Comment 1 Peter Volkov (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-02-03 08:58:27 UTC
Does there exist new date? I would like iptables/ipset stabilized together, as it was discussed with Daniel.
Comment 2 Daniel Drake (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-02-03 13:12:13 UTC
Stabilise dependant packages now, please. The date is "the minute that I get around to checking any open regressions and filing a stabilisation bug" (or when someone else does). I don't think anything is holding us back, I just haven't found the time to push things forward.
Comment 3 Peter Volkov (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-04-13 05:55:09 UTC
ipset package (bug 257483) is not regression any more for linux 2.6.28 since fixed ipset version is already stable on all required archs and bug 257483 is still open to keyword ipset package on new archs only. Removing depend.
Comment 4 Gordon Malm (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-04-24 07:39:42 UTC
Closing out tracker. Appears all newly recorded 2.6.28 regressions for 2.6.28 have been fixed and we're not getting any new reports.
