When I try to play any track in Amarok 2.0, nothing happens! When I double-click a track on the playlist, nothing happens apart from the usual information about the current track appearing in the status bar at the bottom right of the window, i.e. the title of the track, the artist, album and length of the track. I was using all the betas with no problem. The release candidate had the problem but closing and re-opening Amarok seemed to solve it but the final version doesn't seem to work at all! I thought this may be a problem with preserving pre-release software's configuration files in the home directory so I created a new user with a clean home directory and had the same problem. Sound output in other programs like Exaile and flash within Firefox is fine. I will attach the terminal output in a separate file. If it's any help I try and play Last.fm radio (which I assume doesn't use mysqle) and have the same result...
I installed in a pc with kde 4 and simply works.
