I'm reporting this bug because the package in summary fails to build when forcing --as-needed on through spec files (check out http://blog.flameeyes.eu/2008/11/14/problems-and-mitigation-strategies-for-as-needed for details).

Alessio I didn't notice this was yours, nicer since I don't have to deal with such a buildsystem myself.

Please just get it replaced, or fork this, pretty please.

The attached patch fixes the linking order, --as-needed now works as expected.

Note:the current description is too long, i will suggest something like:
