Description Cyp 2008-11-23 16:09:22 UTC
Short-term-memory training "N-Back" game, remember positions and sounds. Believed to increase working memory and "fluid" intelligence.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge brainworkshop
2. Play game.
3. Have better short-term memory. (Hopefully.)

Actual Results:
Game was not in portage. Dependency dev-python/pyglet was not in portage either.

Expected Results:
Game and dependency in portage.

Will attach ebuild.

Hi,

I just want to mention, that the pyglet-1.1_beta1.ebuild from http://bugs.gentoo.org/207125 doesn't work with brainworkshop.
You get the an error when launching brainworkshop:
TypeError: __init__() got an unexpected keyword argument 'anchor_x'

Here (http://groups.google.com/group/pyglet-users/browse_thread/thread/5eecd1afd2eaf0b1) is a post, indeed not about brainworkshop at all, which recommends updating if this error occurs.
In bug 207125 the most recent version at this moment for pyglet is 1.1_beta1. I found another ebuild for pyglet, this time version 1.1.2. It can be found here:http://projects.wagner-flo.net/repos/portage-overlay/dev-python/pyglet/

With this new ebuild brainworkshop is running fine here!

And brainworkshop should depend an avbin-bin (found also at http://bugs.gentoo.org/207125) to support sound. Of course this could be an USE-Flag situation.

So, thats all, thanks for the ebuild - finally I have a clean install of brainworkshop here :)

Oswald

brainworkshop-4.5.ebuild

For some reason, the new version was released without updating the home page.

Pyglet seems to be in the portage tree, now.

Does this mean that brainworkshop can go in too, now?
