I'm reporting this bug because the package in summary fails to build when forcing --as-needed on through spec files (check out http://blog.flameeyes.eu/2008/11/14/problems-and-mitigation-strategies-for-as-needed for details).

I think that this should be masked for removal, it hasn't got any update by upstream since 2005 and, if I not misremember, it still depends on <bluez-4 (bug 250909)

Patch for asneeded

This would be the patch for asneeded and to respect LDFLAGS. But the missing symbols aren't because of that... this package simply doesn't seem to support bluez-4, the libbluetooth.so doesn't have the required ones
