I think that this should be masked for removal, it hasn't got any update by upstream since 2005 and, if I not misremember, it still depends on <bluez-4 (bug 250909)
Created attachment 236909 [details, diff] Patch for asneeded This would be the patch for asneeded and to respect LDFLAGS. But the missing symbols aren't because of that... this package simply doesn't seem to support bluez-4, the libbluetooth.so doesn't have the required ones
