Tree cleaners, please, do last rites on fastdb. This package is not required as: 1. lack of users interest - I see zero version bump requests for this package although version currently in the tree more then year and a half old (released 03.03.2007) 2. lack of developers interest it's maintainer-wanted 3. nothing in the tree depends on it
Created attachment 172295 [details] fastdb-3.49.ebuild If there will be even one user who tell me that he needs this package in the tree I'll maintain that. Currently I'm attaching my last draft of ebuild for fastdb and it fixs all bugs we know about but small improovment still possible: it's possible to build it without threads. But anyway I see no reason maintaining it now...

Dear friend: Our business relys on dev-db/fastdb very heavily. We merged this package before, but I have found that it was not maintained recently. So here I hope that it is maintained again from now on, please give us a help :) thank you very much.
