Description Incinerator 2008-11-18 07:15:33 UTC
Hello!

I found that application yesterday and wrote a ebuild for it. Maybe somebody would find it useful, so i decided to share it.

Figaro's Password Manager is a GNOME application that allows user to securely store his passwords. FPM2 is GTK2 port from Figaro's Password Manager with some new features. FPM2 include a password generation feature. It stores passwords in encrypted with blowfish algorithm way.

FPM2 is a lightweight alternative to "revelation" password manager and in comparison to "revelation" it doesn't require tons of GNOME's libs.

On the analogy of "revelation" i store it in x11-misc/fpm2.

Another ebuild is available in this overlay [1], that also works with 0.7.2. Would be nice to have this in the tree.

Hello, The Gentoo Team would like to firstly thank you for your ebuild
submission. We also apologize for not being able to accommodate you in a timely
manner. There are simply too many new packages.

Allow me to use this opportunity to introduce you to Gentoo Sunrise. The
sunrise overlay[1] is a overlay for Gentoo which we allow trusted users to
commit to and all users can have ebuilds reviewed by Gentoo devs for entry
into the overlay. So, the sunrise team is suggesting that you look into this
and submit your ebuild to the overlay where even *you* can commit to. =)

Thanks,
On behalf of the Gentoo Sunrise Team,
Markos.
