glxgears gives 150 fps, while prev stable xorg-server-1.4 give ~500
Vladimir, from your last comment it seems that X starts ok. Are there any other noticable issues related to this error message, other than a decreased glxgears framerate?
Created attachment 169816 [details] glitches this kind `glitches` sometimes occur on various application. (application on screenshot: Terminal)
1) Have the problems evolved at all with 2.5.0 ? 2) If not, could you please open a bug in FreeDesktop's bugzilla (here are instructions on how to do so: http://www.intellinuxgraphics.org/how_to_report_bug.html) and add "remi@gentoo.org" as a CC on the newly opened bug. Thanks
at the moment I have not seen such glitches on 2.5.0 as I have seen on 2.4.2-r3 is there any reason to open bug on Xorg if 2.5.0 works fine ?
I guess not :) If it ever does happen again, please do open a bug over at fd.o Thanks for the follow up.
