microblog-purple is a libpurple plug-in supporting microblog services like Twitter. It lets you get updates in real time in a pidgin conversation window, as well as post to your twitter account. Ebuild was written and tested by me, it fails on FEATURES="multilib-strict" and I have an issue opened for it already here: http://code.google.com/p/microblog-purple/issues/detail?id=35 If there is no generic herd to maintain this package, I will gladly proxy maintain it. I proxy maintain a few other packages as well, no problem.. THANKS! Reproducible: Always
Woops! I have the package in my overlay here: http://code.google.com/p/krossai/source/browse/trunk/x11-plugins/pidgin-mbpurple/ And I am attaching the ebuild now. Sorry. :-)

Anyone in net-im willing to proxy maintain for me? I already proxy maintain a couple of other builds including: net-misc/suite3270 and net-misc/logjam. Any help is appreciated, thank you!
I can do it

change depends to net-im/pidgin[gtk] it works with finch, but you need the gtk flag enabled to compile it ... don't know why :/

Can someone please mark #261990 a duplicate of this? I can not...
Created attachment 209533 [details] version bump
Created attachment 210484 [details] Add EAPI="2" The addition of EAPI="2" to the 0.2.4 ebuild fixes the following error: !!! Invalid or corrupt dependency specification: invalid atom: 'net-im/pidgin[gtk]' ('ebuild', '/', 'x11-plugins/pidgin-mbpurple-0.2.4', 'merge') net-im/pidgin[gtk] This package can not be installed. Please notify the 'x11-plugins /pidgin-mbpurple-0.2.4' package maintainer about this problem. ... done!

Ok, so 0.3 is out. I just discovered this plugin for me, so maybe I will keep on using it. If any of you is still interested in letting this thing go into the main Portage tree, volunteeres I could proxy would be great.
I'm still using this plugin. I recently became active with sunrise, so I'd be willing to help.
I will import this package into Portage on Wednesday or Thursday.
Now in Portage.
