emerging dev-libs/boost-1.35.0-r1 fails with following error:

Seems you ran out of memory. How much RAM do your system have?
Does it happen as well with fewer than 5 jobs in MAKEOPTS?

I have 1gb RAM and setting 2 jobs in MAKEOPTS solved problem...
