Are you sure you aren't hitting bug 206895 ?

Yes, I am. I have no Java runtime or Java development kit installed on my machine. I can also reproduce this bug with sci-astronomy/stellarium 0.9.1-r1.
There are following lines in build.log generated for kdelibs and stellarium:
-- Found JPEG: /usr/bin/libjpeg.so

This bug seem to be cmake-related, because I can build, for example, media-video/vlc or www-client/arora (they are both Qt4 powered and their build system is based on autotools), but I cannot build kdelibs or stellarium (they are also Qt4-dependent, but their build system is based on cmake).

Following investigation needed.

Oops.
% equery files jpeg
[ Searching for packages matching jpeg... ]
* Contents of media-libs/jpeg-6b-r8:
[trimmed]
/usr/lib/libjpeg.a
/usr/lib/libjpeg.la
/usr/lib/libjpeg.so -> libjpeg.so.62.0.0
/usr/lib/libjpeg.so.62 -> libjpeg.so.62.0.0
/usr/lib/libjpeg.so.62.0.0
[/trimmed]

File /usr/bin/libjpeg.so is probably orphaned. Why cmake uses it?

Ok, deletion of /usr/bin/libjpeg.so seems to be a solution.

oops, you're right. commenting out the ROOTPATH line in /etc/env.d/20java makes the error disappear.

So could you mark the bug as duplicate of bug #206895 ?
That will save time for people searching b.g.o for a solution
Thanks In advance !
Aurélien
