Could you give a bit more info. From this snippet it is hard to see what is the problem. Also post the output of emerge --info

There's not much I can add really. Everything was successful up to that point, and it was very early on in the installation.

If it helps, I recently compiled openoffice 1.0.3 with complete success.
Comment 3 Paul de Vrieze (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-07-08 13:19:00 UTC
Are all dependencies fully updated, and is the right sdk selected (blackdown jdk 1.4.1 )?
Comment 4 Simon Watson 2003-07-08 13:27:36 UTC
I have the blackdown JRE installed. Everything else is up to date!
Comment 5 Paul de Vrieze (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-07-08 13:38:07 UTC
It must be a jdk, a jre is not enough
Comment 6 Simon Watson 2003-07-08 13:53:26 UTC
Apologies - I meant JDK. I'm currently trying 1.0.3 again, to see if this still compiles.
Comment 7 Simon Watson 2003-07-08 13:57:44 UTC
1.0.3 compile is well into the install now - so that problem hasn't occured. I'm still stumped for ideas as to what is causing the problem with 1.1_beta2.
Comment 8 Simon Watson 2003-07-10 23:17:04 UTC
For some reason, which I am unsure of, this bug no longer occurs on my machine - Assuming it is down to an old ebuild or something.
Comment 9 Paul de Vrieze (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-07-11 01:48:22 UTC
Ok, I'll close the bug. Remember that openoffice needs a huge amount of discspace to compile.
