As told rkward homepage http://rkward.sourceforge.net/
RKWard 0.4.9a is for kde 3
RKWard 0.5.0b is for kde 4
I tried to unmerge RKWard 0.4.9a, then I upgraded kdelibs to version 4.1.2-r1, and emerged RKWard 0.5.0b
Everything was installed fine.

Please add kdelibs-4* as blocker to RKWard 0.4*

The rkward for kde3 was moved to the /usr/kde/3.5 prefix thus collision is no longer happening. Just recompile the package if you still happen to have it.
