When using nautilus (tested with 2.22.5.1) with a "view as list" mode file-roller can't drag and drop files from the archive. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Run nautilus on a standard directory 2. Set view mode as "view as list" (right corner) 3. Open an archive with file-roller 4. Try to drag a file to the nautilus window Actual Results: Can't drag & drop a file, as if nautilus wasn't drag aware. Expected Results: The file should be copied in the destination. This was a Nautilus problem, File-Roller is innocent actually. It should work as of Nautilus 2.26.3 (or lower, even) http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=171655#c65
Drag and drop from file-roller to desktop works fine for me with 2.26, is this solved for you?
2.26 is stable or on its way to stable for other arches. Closing fixed.
